Woolly Willow Leaf Earrings

Downy willow - Salix lapponum - is a very rare mountain willow, with very fluffy deeply veined leaves growing in arctic-alpine mountain habitats. These earrings have been handmade from impressions of downy willow leaves, and fired with a vibrant teal transluscent glaze, showing the leaves delicate veined structure.

Delightfully light to wear, each earring weighs less than 2 grams.

Earring hooks are hypoallergenic 14k gold filled wires, provided with clear earring backs, presented in a 100% recycled and recyclable card box.

Please note that the reverse of each earring has three small marks made by supports for the leaves during firing, that have been carefully filed smooth.
