Eared Willow Earrings

Not a rarity, but one of my favourite plants, eared willow - Salix aurita, for you to wear on your ears!!

Eared willow is a fast coloniser of rewetted landscapes, rapidly providing dense cover for riparian birds and food for beavers. It has beautifully textured leaves, captured here using a vibrant transluscent glazes in green and teal colours.

Earring hooks are hypoallergenic 14k gold filled wires, provided with clear earring backs, presented in a 100% recycled and recyclable card box.

Please note that the reverse of each earring has three small marks made by supports for the leaves during firing, that have been carefully filed smooth.
