Dwarf Willow Raku Earrings

Dwarf willow (Salix herbacea) is a tiny willow growing on the summits of Scotland’s highest mountains. These fully grown ‘wee trees’ peep their tiny leaves only a few centimetres above blankets of woolly fringe moss, insulating them in their extreme habitat. A perfect gift for your favourite fearless mountain adventurer.

These earrings have been handmade from imprints of dwarf willow leaves and raku fired giving an iridescent reflective surface of metallic copper, over transluscent green tones highlighting the leaves veins. The back of the earrings have been decorated in a classic white raku crackle.

Delightfully light to wear, each earring weighs less than 1 gram.
