Eared Willow Earrings

Eared willow - Salix aurita, for you to wear on your ears!! Not a rarity, but a keystone coloniser of rewetted habitats, rapidly providing dense cover for birds and food for beavers. It even grows in mountain willow communities up to elevations of 780 meters.

It has beautifully textured leaves, captured here using a vibrant transluscent glazes in green and teal colours.

Earring hooks are hypoallergenic 14k solid gold wires, provided with clear earring backs, presented in a 100% recycled and recyclable card box.

Please note that the reverse of each earring has three small marks made by supports for the leaves during firing, that have been carefully filed smooth.
