Downy Willow Leaf Earrings

Downy willow is a very rare willow, growing in the extreme mountain environments of the Highlands. These earrings have been handmade from impressions of downy willow leaves (Salix lapponum), and fired with a vibrant teal translucent glaze, showing the leaves delicate veined structure.

Delightfully light to wear, each earring weighs only around 1.5 grams

Earring hooks are hypoallergenic 14k gold filled wires, provided with clear earring backs, presented in a 100% recycled and recyclable card box.

Please note that the reverse of each earring has three small marks made by supports for the leaves during firing, that have been carefully filed smooth.
